Antonio Dourthé Castrillón, Head of the Land Transportation Department, Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications
Civil engineer graduated from the University of Chile and has two postgraduate degrees, one in Traffic Safety and the other in Business Management, obtained at the same university. He has 30 years of work experience in his professional field.
Throughout his career, he has held management positions in railway and real estate companies, as well as in different areas of various institutions. His responsibilities included both the corporate area, such as General Management, administration, finance and human resources, as well as the technical production areas, with a particular focus on sustainability, including safety (traffic, labor and patrimonial), environment, quality, norms and relationship with the community. He has also held positions of public authority, such as Regional Ministerial Secretary for Transportation and Telecommunications in the Metropolitan Region and Executive Secretary of the National Traffic Safety Commission.
In the teaching area, he has been a professor in graduate programs at institutions such as the University of Chile, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, the Universidad Federico Santa María and the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana.
